The National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC) was established to develop our students into outstanding leaders who exhibit resilience and integrity as well as show care and concern to people in our community.

In 2013, Outram NPCC unit was conferred the Bronze Award for the annual National Police Cadet Corps Unit Overall Proficiency Award (UOPA). Riding on the wave of enthusiasm and passion for excellence, the cadets also partook in various NPCC HQ activities which helped to harness their leadership potential as well as imbue greater confidence in their abilities. For example, the cadets participated in the Adventure and Survival Training Camps held at the NPCC campsite on Pulau Ubin. Though the obstacles initially may seem daunting, the cadets remained unperturbed and were able to surmount the demanding challenges such as the Low Ropes Challenge and the Water Confidence Jump.

In addition, the cadets were also presented with opportunities to acquire and hone their revolver shooting skills through the .22’ Revolver Practice and Classification Shoot.

In line with forging a closer partnership with the Singapore Police Force, the cadets also collaborated with police officers from Bukit Merah East Neighbourhood Police Centre (BME NPC) on multiple fronts to serve and contribute to our community.

In all, NPCC is a multi-faceted CCA which not only strives to mould its members into capable leaders equipped with determination and perseverance, but also cultivate an inherent willingness to care for the community.
