Our Programme

ALP curriculum

ALP curriculum is introduced to all Secondary One and Two students this year with an objective to equip students with basic foundation of the importance of financial literacy and entrepreneurship, branding and marketing.

Some of the highlights for Secondary One curriculum include introducing the various financial literacy board games such as Mind-your-money and Lifelong learning board game to all Secondary one students. Mr Henry Tan, Managing Director of Nexia, was invited to give all students a talk on financial budgeting as a part of their OPEL activity this year.

Some of the highlights Secondary Two curriculum include getting students to design a marketing badge as a part of the school publicity efforts to promote Outram. Learning journey to various companies which use Smart Technology to brand and market their companies successfully was organised during OPEL week.

Introduction to Financial Literacy - Lifelong Learning Board Game

As a part of the Applied Learning Programme (ALP) curriculum, students from Secondary 12, 13 and 14 are introduced to the Lifelong Learning Board Game (L3), supported by Skills Future Singapore on the 29th January 2018.
Students from 41, 42 and 43 were also introduced to L3 in May 2018 as part of their post-mid year examination activities.


Outram Project Experiential Learning

As part of the Outram Secondary School’s efforts to provide students with a holistic educational experience, all Secondary One to Three students will undergo an experiential learning week (OPEL: Outram Project-based Experiential Learning) from21st May to 24th May 2018.
