Inter School Frisbee Competition
Last year, SRC was 5th place for the Inter-School Ultimate Frisbee Competition on 21 October 2016. The team had just started training a few months before the competition but were beaten by schools that had Ultimate Frisbee as an official CCA and were already playing the sport for 2-3 years. They were the underdogs and were the new ones coming into this scene.
After last year’s competition, the SRC students increased training to 3-4 times a week (including June holidays and even when they were fasting) just to make sure they were ready for this year’s competition. They really wanted to win and believed in each other. They fought extremely hard against reigning champions, Swiss Cottage Secondary School and managed to clinch the championship this year, on 28 June 2017.
