National Schools Speed Climbing Championships (NSSCC)
Outram Rock-climbers Scale Greater Heights!
On 14 April 2018, Outram Secondary School held its annual National Schools Speed Climbing Championships (NSSCC). The competition saw 92 competitors from 11 participating secondary schools and junior colleges competing in the A, B, and C divisions.
Prior to the competition, the climbers committed themselves to training thrice a week, and, often, even training during weekends on their own accord. We are pleased to share that their hard work paid off when our climbers swept titles and bagged home several trophies and medals at the competition.
We
emerged as the overall champions of the C Division Girls, B Division Girls, and
B Division Boys. Honourably, the fastest records for each secondary school
level division were all held by representatives from our school. The following
is a summary of our achievements in the 2018 NSSCC:
